If you run a pharmacy in Canada, you’re going to have to decide whether including homeopathic remedies that some may ask for on occasion is something you want to entertain.

Rexall has decided it’s a match made in heaven, going from their enthusiastic praise of homeopathy. After giving me a bit of a runaround, Rexall tells me this signage was outdated, and they’ve asked the store to take it down. This page may end up being immediately outdated!

Homeopathy helps boost the body’s ability to heal itself.

The logo on the right is Rexall‘s pharmacy logo, most prominent in the store above their pharmacy / clinic section. I could only find it one other place in the entire store (on a display of store-brand band-aids.)

Why homeopathy is special enough to get this promotion I find perplexing. Other sections of the store don’t merit taglines… a cynic might surmise that the low overhead of creating homeopathic products might lead to better markups?
